Kallar Kahar

This is private picture collection which my cousins recently shared with me of their trip to Kallar kahar . I am not sure about its history buti google for its history and explore that

Lying 30 miles southwest of Chakwal on the Chakwal-Sargodha road, Kallar Kahar is known for its peacocks, for its freshwater lake, and for the Takht-e-Babri, a flat stage built of stone by emperor Babar to address his army while coming down from Kabul in the quest of the crown of Delhi. During his stay at Kallar Kahar, Babar also planted a garden, which still exists, called the Bagh-e-Safa. In his memoirs, the Tuzk-e-Babri, Babar described Kallar Kahar as a “charming place with good air” and natural beauty.

Knight and Day

During watching knight and day , spectacular Spanish architecture catch my attention . every single detail on walls and use of colors are admirable.I catch this during  contextual studies  lectures that details on walls and ceilings was a symbol of richness in 18 centuries .Poor people had plan walls and ceilings but after 2WW design get less details , probably the Popularity  of Art Deco . Art Deco and Bauhaus converted architecture simple and more focus on shapes then details on walls and ceilings. But I still feel Spanish and Italian architecture are breath taking .They shows the glory of their time . I personally feel that they shows the invitation and development in art and design comparatively  today . I think today design linked more with industry and more commercial which make technology involve  more then art . while in 18 or 17 century design just make for passion, not for sale because art and design was very rare and limited to the royals. and their wasn’t any time limit for their creation so architect or designer had their best affords ,just focus on their one piece and that’s might be a reason that every single architecture seems master piece of artists of that centuries .
